What happened to the forum Butch? Have people moved to another one?
I've only been keeping an eye on results so not watched too many games. Listened to the first few innings last night before falling asleep. Is there not much chance of this team having run in the playoffs then?

There's definitely a chance. Any team in the playoffs can make a run. It would be nice if they held onto the top wild card spot so they host the series at Wrigley...
Are you on Facebook? A bunch of people from here have been chatting in a group forum over there. But even that has died off a bit. I created a Facebook account just for the purposes of talking Cubs with some of the old regulars from here, so let me know if you're interested and I can point you in the right direction. Aye for sure. It's getting to the business end of the season so hopefully they don't shit the bed at this stage.
I dont use Facebook man but I appreciate the offer. Maybe a tasty playoff run will tempt a few folk back here!

Yeah...I'll never quite understand why this forum died. I think it's because it isn't that easy to use on a phone and people went to other places that are built better for phones like Facebook or Twitter. I still prefer this place, but it's pretty dead, sadly.

It's the same on a few different forums I use tbh. There's a Dundee United one I've been on for years, used to have tons of posters and we used to have forum meet ups at games and stuff. There's only about half a dozen posters on there now.
Most people seem to prefer arguing with strangers on Twitter now I reckon.
