Cubs had to DFA Shelby Miller so they could add Ortega to the 40 man. I assume some other team will take a flyer on him. It's too bad, as I was really pulling for Miller to be a long man out of the pen.

The Cubs and MLBs plethora of injuries are forcing many DFAs. Expecting that by September, a few teams will have gone through a full rotation



Injuries are up and will probably increase as season continues so expect more searching the waiver wire for more roster help

Unfortunately, hes done this previously where Im certain he can cruise through 7 innings easily and hes out late in 4th or 5th inning. Yeah, hes already pitched 4 innings so guessing hell make it through that inning this outing
