Looks very promising. I love vampire movies.

Went to see this Friday. It didn't disappoint. It's interesting because given the fact that humans are the minority and with the us vs them main theme and search for a "cure" to vampirism, this movie played almost like a zombie film, especially in the 2nd half. As far as I'm concerned, that was genius. It had a constant feeling of dread throughout, and I had no idea it would be so gory either. Extra points for a very cool depiction of a vampire controlled society of the future as well. You almost forget how dangerous these creatures can be, since they are portrayed as so modern and civilized. That doesn't last very long, however.

My only problem with this movie is that it could have been another 15-20 minutes longer, but I guess there might be a sequel, which is good or bad. I wanted more, and the ending left a ton of loose ends.

Anyway 3.75/5 maybe 4/5 stars

I think the concept sounds great - just kind of got torpedo'd by the studio because of the played out vampire craze.
