And now he throws sidearmed... that should help his control problems

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Rich Hill has converted to a sidearm delivery.
"It's very natural to me, I feel comfortable doing it," he said Tuesday after showing his new throwing motion off at Red Sox camp. The left-hander inked a minor league contract with Boston in mid-December and is hoping to climb his way to the majors at some point this season.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Rich Hill might want to start considering a new profession.

He mixed in some sidearm throws when he was with the Cubs and he actually threw well that way. I always wanted him to do that more, especially against lefties since he threw straight over the top and didn't have a very effective pitch to get them out. I think he could be a LOOGY this way out of the pen. But, the bottom line is he's an absolute headcase. That's always been his problem.

Consider the money they're paying him to suck balls.
Now consider the money he would stand to make for the next dozen years, if he could figure out the LOOGY thing, as Clapp suggests.

It'd be tough to walk away from easy millions.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
