I wouldn't either, but I do think we will make a minor deal or two, simply because Hendry seems intent on saving his boss a tiny bit of money, but that will probably be the extent of it.

Lilly and Nady need to be dealt ASAP -- those two are no-brainers and should be able to be moved fairly easily. Lee will be harder to move, so I won't be surprised or disappointed if he remains a Cub. Hendry really needs to do whatever is in his power to make some deadline deals here...

Pretty much. I wouldn't expect much in return for Nady, but he is overpaid and serves no purpose here, and Lilly is better served on a contender. I also don't expect a great return for him based on the Haren deal, but at least it opens up a spot in the rotation to audition someone for next season.

Either way, both players have no future here, so might as well get something, anything for them, and save some money at the same time if possible.
