I saw something that was a little odd that I didn't catch an explanation for.
[spoiler] when they are in the rec room and The Thing emerges, the research assistant guy gets tagged in the abdomen, kinda in the kidney area. It was almost as if the Thing got a sample or something from him before going for the full course. It did the same thing to Adewale Akinnuoye- Agbaje and killed him doing it, but it seemed like there was a reason for it doing what it was doing. Was it just trying to maim so it had easy prey? [/spoiler]
The one thing that I did find pretty lame was:
