5X5 means, there are 5 hitting stats (runs, rbi, hr, avg & sb) and 5 pitching stats (W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP).
In head to head, you get a win or lose or tie for each category versus whomever you're playing that week.
So the best you could do would be to go 10-0-0 on the week. Then they use that to put you in the standings. It's pretty fun and easy. And since this league is free, it's a decent starting point.
