Obama's phone conversation with Buehrle:
Obama: Congratulations on your perfect game, son.
Buehrle: Thank you. Thank you, sir.
Obama: Now, a perfect game is what exactly?
Buehrle: That's when you don't allow anyone to reach base in a victory.
Obama: Outstanding. You know I wore a White Sox jacket to the all-star game.
Buehrle: Yes sir. I was there, sir.
Obama: Boy, I bet Cominskey Stadium was really rocking today.
Buehrle: Um. Yes, sir.
Obama: We south siders really need to stick together.
Buehrle: I voted for the old white guy. And it's my dream to pitch for the Cardinals.
Obama: Ah, the Cardinals. Arizona is really beautiful.
