For some reason, I tended to confuse Red Ivy with Vines on Clark.

Red Ivy closed at the start of the season while Vines on Clark is still open.

I'm assuming the bread thing isn't at all unlike my brother and I doing atomic elbow drops on our beanbag chair to mess up Fernando's mojo. It isn't like he was waterboarding him.

Do you think any of those people could toss Theo a loaf of bread and order him to start eating?

I think it might be one of those "you had to be there" kind of things.

I've been there. It's a power dynamic. I had a boss that would come to my desk to talk to me and put one foot up on my desk and talk down at me with his crotch at my eye level. I could never get away with turning that around on him.

He talked about how he knows people kiss his ass. That's an example of him expecting it. It's not a good look. I'm sure it's made light hearted by all concerned. But that shoe could never be on the other foot.

Nor could that face be in the other crotch.

Ricketts shouldn't fire him. He should send him a loaf of bread.

It isn't like he's making him eat a pinecone or a bowl of spiderwebs.

Who gives a shit, I'm sure if he wasn't willing to go along with it he'd tell him to fuck off.  Nothing in the article does anything but make me think he kicks even more ass.

And for accuracy, he doesn't say that he knows people kiss his ass.  He says that's what his wife says to him.

We typically care if one of our players is a dick, why shouldn't be care about the front office guys in the same way?

However, this is one of the many reasons that I don't read sports articles about the personalities. I don't want to know what they are like as people.

They are merely puppets for my enjoyment. Now dance, puppets, dance!
