I'd rather see Wood in there.


Olt and Wood have nearly identical career OPS. I'm not sure if I should be sad about that.

The college rule is better.  In MLB, if you don't DH for the pitcher, you don't get a DH.

 

In college, where a lot of pitchers are better hitters than pitchers, you can elect to make your pitcher your DH so even when he's taken out of the game, he stays the DH.
