Sorry for the down time.  Not sure if anyone noticed.  I was upgrading the boards.  Thought it may help the lag time.  Not sure if it helped.  Next step is to contact the web host.

The mobile version has some nice new features like social media interaction. Good work.

I'd say there's marked improvement but still significantly slower than it probably should be.

I just created a support ticket for the site.  My guess is they'll blame it on the forum software and/or our setup and say they can't control it.  But we'll see.

If they try that, send them to the landing page which doesn't have the forum on it.  It's slow-loading too.

I ended up talking to a service rep and they said it appeared to be a server issue and would have it corrected.  Not sure if I'm noticing the change.

Of course, I also nerfed the database trying to do some cleanup.  So that didn't help.

For me, everything is reasonable, until you click to go into an individual forum or post.  Then it takes too long.  Might be some sql clean up I can do.  Hopefully without bringing the site down this time.

Yeah, as things begin to cache, I'm noticing a marked improvement.
