Skyfall has something like a 92% rotten tomatoes score for both users and critics, but I thought it was pretty average. I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. I realize it's a Bond flick, but I thought the plot was pretty ridiculous. I wasn't a big fan of Javier Bardem's character either, which surprised me. It was better than Quantum of Solace, but not by much.

Quantum of Solace was garbage. That's the main reason why I won't rush out to see this. I know it's getting great reviews, but most critics say this is barely a Bond film at all. So why would I waste my time with a dressed up Hollywood action film with a couple of solid actors and loose ties to a decaying franchise?

I liked it a lot, actually. But I liked Quantum of Solace.

I thought Q of S was terrible too. I loved Casino Royale though. It was the best Bond film I've ever seen, although I've only seen the Brosnan and Craig versions.

Casino Royale was great. I'm not a huge Bond guy, but prefer the Sean Connery days to anything that's been pumped out over the past 30 years.

I'm still not sure why the current Bond looks like a Russian...just doesn't seem proper.

I've thought the same thing. Craig doesn't look British at all, although he is. I'm not even sure what British look like, but Craig looks Russian. He does bring the ladies into the theater though. I think the girl I was with was moist when he was shirtless.

I'm a bit of a Bond nut but I haven't had a minute to breathe this last week to even see the movie. QOS was absulutely horrible so I'm hoping this one is better. The fact that they now have him as a Heiniken drinker is a little disturbing. I grew up with the Roger Moore Bond films so I'm a little partial for nostalgia sake but the Connery movies are some of my favorites, especially Thunderball which in my opinion is the best Bond movie ever made.

The Heineken thing was overblown. He was drinking a Heineken in one 5 second scene. He drank martinis the rest of the movie.
